The disadvantage to having a long distance relationship is the expense when you fight. Long distance calls are horribly expensive. Still, it is worth the expense for a couple to get past the obstacle in their path.

A lot of people say that long distance relationships never work. I say i agree... if they are just in the relationship without a particular goal in sight. If your future is not clear, then it is easy to just let go because it will really be tough. However, if there is a certain future ahead, ie if you plan to eventually be together in 6 months, then it wont be as hard.

While im at it, what is with girls and trying to find out if the guy likes them by trying to see if he will go after them if they run away? It will be ok to try that one or at most twice but if you do more of that, dont be surprised if they dont chase you anymore. You see, when you try to leave or break up, the guys get hurt too. You are basically rejecting their love and like everything, their patience and strength is limited. Also, if you do that and close your cell or hang up the phone, how will you know if they are chasing you? Closing everything generally gives the picture that you dont want anything more to do with them. We will try but again, our patience may give way. Girls, if you hang up, put back the phone so we can call back ;)
