My life of luxury
You know what they say about happiness, it is all subjective. The same goes with luxury.
Personally, my definition is much different than others. I hear that others think that living a cushy luxurious life is by not working or having really expensive stuff or driving expensive cars. Somehow, i dont find that too hot. I dont want to not be working because it would bore the heck out me. I work but my time is mine. I dont have to sit in an office all day even though i do have an office. I have a medical career im working on, too, so all is good. I dont have millions of dollars but i have money to use, money to lend out to family in need and money invested so i guess i have more than i need. I am fit enough to eat all the ice cream and chocolates that i want (actually thats the ultimate luxury). I live and work in a two block area so no traffic to deal with each day. I have gateway mall as a next door neighbor so anything i need is literally a stone's throw away. There is 10 peso soft serve ice cream store that serves yummy cheese and langka flavors on my way to the dojo and a twenty peso large scooped milko ice cream station with other flavors further on. Shopwise, 400 steps away, is open till 11pm so any cravings i get can easily be satiated. Other malls are a train ride away and i have two trains near me, MRT and LRT3. My car runs efficiently. My cellphones work, all 5, and there's nothing i need to do that they cant do. My computers work. My TV is relatively new. Movie cinemas... i have 10 next door. I have friends i get to watch with. I have no allergies so i eat anything i want. I have 20/20 vision that doesnt need corrections. The only pains i have are the ones near my palm because of a fall i had while trying a stunt, my stiff neck from doing pilates wrong (pilates doesnt agree with me) and my heel from stomping too much but all are healing well. My US visa was renewed for 10 more years. I dont think i will have trouble getting european and other visas if the need arises. Plus im not tied so tightly that i cant just up and leave when i feel like it. My karate students like the way i teach because they still attend my class instead of transferring to the other classes with other teachers.
Im still waiting for a sale on sentry safes so i can finally get one. Im still figuring out when i'd get off my butt to go take the train and buy parts to upgrade my computer. Im still looking for the girl im supposed to end up with ;) and im still trying to decide whether see's chocolates, cadbury fruit and nut or godiva's are my favorite goodies.
GRRR!! I guess i have to dress up and go out again. All this talk of chocolates made me crave for some.
