Just had one of the worst start birthday. Got dragged to a play by my dad where my cousin is part of the cast. My cousin did ok but the plot, the script, the lights, the sounds, the cuing, a lot of the actors needs much to be desired. It started late which was unprofessional and dragged till past 11pm.

My dad got pissed that i didnt want to eat out with my aunts and uncles after the play. 12:20am, we were driving home and Bianca still hasnt called me to greet me. Got disappointed and texted her so. Mom greeted me with a nasty remark. Couldnt stand it so i left the house.

Bianca accompanied me to grab some dinner. She came from her friends' place and reeked of cigarette smoke which, as usual, irritated my throat. No Wendy around so i decided to just get something from Chow King in E. Rodriguez. THAT PLACE IS A RIP-OFF! They charged me over 60 pesos for a huge chunk of rice and 5 small pieces of fish. Worse, their staff kept staring at us while they ate in the other table. I do not recommend that people go there. The food sucked too.

Brought Bianca home because i really cant stand cigarette smoke. She was too tired to hang out with me. I didnt want to go home. Looked for an open adoration chapel to pray at. I went to Makati, Greenhills and Marikina. All closed. I went home instead.

Woke up late. Went to mass. Met up with Bianca to meet my family at Market Market. The place was huge but unappealing. We watched the Infection movie while waiting. Weird senseless movie in Japanese with english dubbing. We had dinner and it was fun. Bianca is treating me for dinner tonight and im looking forward to it.

Hope it isnt a sign of a sucky year ahead. Still, birthdays are good days in general. You can count how many people remember that you touched their lives.

Why is it so hard to wake up in the morning?! I had a lot of stuff lined up today but waking up at 10:30 am really doesnt help. Still, there is always tomorrow (argh! is that Mañana habit starting up again?).

I dont waste time though. I did get to fix up my homepage and Beeps.net. Also got in touch with a few sites to link up and promote Beeps.

Perhaps it is time to talk about my California Adventure. :) I'll think about it.

I watched Constantine last week. It was a very entertaining movie. It had quite a number of funny moments i.e. the possessed girl speaking in tagalog and the ending. A lot of critics say that it wasnt nice (lacks substance, poor plot, bla bla bla) but i think they were just lost. They might have been out to watch Phantom of the Opera and stupidly entered the Constantine cinema.

Globe Telecom is now persona non grata with me. My friend had a nice globe number which she was going to discontinue. I figured i would rather have that then apply for a new hard to remember number. A globe rep said that if i transfer, i would technically be submitting papers for a new line and will be qualified for a new phone. I got my papers ready and when i got back, they said "no, a transferred line is not a new subscription so no new phone." I then asked for options on how to get a new phone because my mom was counting on it. They said "only new subscribers get a new phone. Only those deemed worthy by the Marketing department get rewards." It made me feel that once they have you in their clutches, there is no point in treating you nicely.

Before i left last August for the states, i asked Globe how much it would cost me to text back home while on roaming. They consistently said Php 15/text. Malinaw di ba? I checked their literature. Malinaw na Php 15. Lo and behold, when i got to the states, i was being charged Php 25/text. I asked them again. Now they told me that there is an extra Php 10 for the carrier. *@&#(!& Siyempre they didnt tell me about it before i left.

When i asked them what would happen if i lost my globe prepaid, they said "nothing." If you lose it then youre up a creek without a paddle. They wont replace it or help you in any way. Prepaid lang kasi e. Buti pa smart, if you lose your prepaid, you pay a fee to replace it. Your load and your number will be retained. They wont let you be hassled to tell everyone that you changed your number. In this light, i took the initiative to tell everyone that i switched to sun and using a smart prepaid for business and backup.

When i got back, i started texting my friends with the remaining load i got plus my 100+ free text. Funny thing was soon after, i got a "check operator services" error. It seems that globe used my load instead of my free text. I complained to the customer service number who basically said, sorry we dont care and cant help you there. I went to the Hub in Rockwell and the girl said i just needed to load again to use the free text. When i asked the girl in the business center in Gateway mall, i got the most incredible answer. Apparently globe will not automatically finish your free text first. On some days, it will consume your load and not your free text allocation. &@#)!(@*#)!( Talk about greed. And when you dont have a load, you cant even call customer service. Buti pa sun and smart totally the other way around.

I also setup a new website to support sun cellular, www.beeps.net. Hopefully, more people will support sun and sun will keep the 24/7 going indefinitely.

Today Beeps.net was created. It was in response to a suggestion and an indignation. My old cellular company was too greedy so i went to Sun cellular and got me a plan plus im also using my Smart sim with the nice number. Sucked to have to tell everyone the change but hey, better than making greedy companies richer.

Im back from over 5 months in the states and putting things in order. It is amazing how things change when you go on an adventure. Cleaned out my room. Threw out a large amount of junk that accumulated in my room. My room now looks nice. So nice that my parents might have been influenced thus their recent drive to throw out all the trash in the house. Mom and the helpers took out trash that would fill more than a room.

Anyway, hope i get to put more stuff here if i have time.
