Man! I didnt get to work on the computer much today because my computer's monitor conked out on me. It is actually my brother's monitor. How did that happen? Well, when i got back, his monitor was on my computer and my nicer monitor was on his. I needed a larger hard drive and he offered to trade my old hard drive for his spare 20 Gig if i traded monitors as well. Anyway, im trying out this newly refurbished monitor i bought. It has a 3 month warranty for 1/3 the price. I figured that if it is going to fail, it will go within the warranty period. If it doesnt, then it will probably last for about 6 months to a year. Not bad. The brand new ones has a 1 year warranty period. Its a gamble but its one i am willing to take.

Today i commuted to Bianca's office so i can drive for her on her way home. She didnt get to sleep so i was worried. Naks! Pogi points but it was only because i cared. Anyway, that isnt my story, my story started after i got off at the MRT station just a mile away from her house. I figured it would be safe for her to drive that short distance. Again i digress, i got off the train in Araneta Center where i parked my car. On the way, i saw Rustans. I remembered that i owed my sister some chocolate and i needed some food for the house. While looking at nesvita, i saw a new product beside it, Soupy Snax by Knorr. Cheap too. I figured it wouldnt be a bad deal to try it out. So i got one each of the two flavors. Just a while ago, i got boiling water and a sachet. I then proceeded to mix it (You have to mix it well because the darned flavor wont melt easily). At that point, the thing looked like recycled leftover instant noodles. The noodles were so few that it couldnt even fill the cup surface. I tried it and it tasted just like it looked.
My advice, dont buy it.

It is amazing what some people would do for money. I just recently went to the BIR to check on my account and to register my new company. I found out that my accountant may have lied to me and has not closed the business when i asked and paid her to do so in 2002. Imagine losing your good name for a few thousand pesos. Pathetic. On the other hand, i am impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the Bureau of Internal Revenue in Quezon City. Not only were they very helpful and knowledgable when i was trying to get my affairs in order, the person i asked some questions prior to my visit replied and sent a couple of helpful emails.

Today was horribly HOT! Imagine, it was 94.3ºF / 34.6ºC at 1pm and went up to 94.8ºF/34.9ºC by 2pm. That is how hot it was in my room! True that my house might have been inadvertently designed to turn this part of my house into an oven but still, it was horribly hot. It was so hot that i went out to have my car windows fixed. Funny thing was that it was cooler outside. Yes, the world is about to end.
